When did you join the TAG board and what is your role?
“I first joined the TAG board in 2015, took a couple of years off, but couldn’t stay away, so I’m back! I currently serve on the Properties directorship and often help out with set building. You’ll also see me on stage this December in Holiday Inn at the Lincoln Theatre!”
Why is TAG important to you?
“TAG has created a broad and diverse theatre family in our community, one that consistently pushes the boundaries of excellence in community theatre. What TAG has achieved is nothing short of extraordinary. Having been part of it for many years, I can confidently say: this is not your average community theatre group. We’ve built something truly special and lasting.”
What are the most memorable TAG shows for you?
“Rent has been a favorite of mine since high school, and I was lucky enough to play Roger in TAG’s 2011 production alongside a phenomenal cast.
Another favorite is A Christmas Story. Playing the hilarious and iconic “Old Man” was a blast, and even more meaningful because I shared the stage with my oldest child, who’s also fallen in love with theatre.”
How would your life be different without theatre?
“Theatre brings people together, and many of my dearest friends have come into my life because of it, including my amazing girlfriend, Rachel. Without theatre, my life would be a lot less rich in friendship and connection.”
What’s your favorite movie?
“Avengers: Endgame! I’m a super fan of all things Marvel.”
What’s your day job?
“I’m a lead technician for Foss Heating and Cooling—proud supporters of TAG for many years. If you like to stay warm and cozy when the weather turns chilly, we’re here to help!”
